Senior Technician

Cedar Information Systems is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Senior Technician to join our growing team in Ghana. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical expertise and the ability to support, maintain, and enhance complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair IT equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective, long-term solutions.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system availability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Recommend and support process improvements, system enhancements, and equipment upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with IT security, cybersecurity, and operational best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer & Communication Engineering (CCE), or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in:
  • IT Infrastructure (servers, networks, storage)
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Cybersecurity
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Experience working in enterprise or multi-client environments is a plus.
• The ability and willingness to continuously improve their skills by learning our OEM products and obtaining relevant certifications.
