Job Description

 

Role and Responsibilities
-To oversee the administration and maintenance of our tracking software
-To interact with internal clients on all levels to help resolve all  It-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner
-To oversee all help desk activities at the regional level
-To respond to escalated help desk activities
-To support CIS internally


Asset Management
-To ensure that company assets are maintained responsibly
-To handle the purchasing of all software, hardware, and other IT supplies of the region
-To ensure that all systems are covered by the proper maintenance contracts, and that preventive maintenance is performed as required


Telephone Handling
-To oversee all telephone changes, including routing for seating assignments
-To manage and develop upgrades to the company’s telephone system at the regional level


Training
-To oversee the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for company training programs (the starting phase for new employees)
-To provide additional support if needed


Internal Systems Management
-To oversee troubleshoots, system backups, archives, and disaster recovery
-To provide expert support when needed


Networking
-To oversee the administration and maintenance of the company’s infrastructure, and direct junior innovators when necessary
-To oversee the administration of the company’s WAN
-To assist in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure
-To implement network security at the regional level as established by corporate Technical Director

 

Job Requirements

 

-A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering – Advanced Degree is desirable
-7 – 10 years of technical experience in hardware and software
-Experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
-Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of IT hardware and software
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems
-Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.
-A MCP certification would be desirable
-Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office, especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
