Transform to A Hybrid Infrastructure With HPE

CIS and HPE held a seminar on May 17, 2017 at the Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut. The theme of this conference was “Transform to a Hybrid infrastructure”
The purpose of the event was to help end-users prepare their businesses for the future with the right hyper-converged and synergy solutions.
Following the welcome coffee and registration, the event began with an introduction of HPE as well as Micro Focus, a software company which has recently merged with HPE’s Software Business to further help customers build, operate and secure critical business applications and infrastructure.
After the coffee break, the evolution of the infrastructure was discussed, moving from traditional to converged then hyper-converged, and then finally to the Composable Infrastructure which is needed to power the idea of Economy.

This type of infrastructure provides the best application performance possible, reduces underutilized and over provisioning, and creates a more agile, cost-effective data center.

The point of focus was HPE Synergy, which is the world’s first platform architected for composable infrastructure and composable services. It delivers the agility and continuous delivery needed for today’s applications.
All attendees were invited to lunch at the Mosaic Restaurant, and then they attended the last session of the event which tackled the benefits of Cloud and Migration Risk Mitigation. This session was also about the importance of the Cloud and its adoption by enterprises.
Finally a draw took place, where both Mr. Michel Iliovits and Mr. Charbel Lahoud won HP Printers.
